Village of
Hope Foundation
Founded on June 17, 2023, by Kagere Abdallah, Lubwama Fahad Ssekabira, and Mwase Sam, Village of Hope (VOH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of orphans and homeless people in Eastern Uganda.
At VOH, our mission is to care for and provide support to children between the ages of 4 and 16. We believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive and achieve their dreams, regardless of their circumstances. Our goal is to create a vibrant and nurturing environment where children can flourish and realize their full potential.
Through our programs, we focus on assisting underprivileged children who face impairments, lack of educational support, and health challenges. We provide them with a holistic approach to care, addressing their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
Located in Makuutu Village, Bugweri District, Eastern Uganda, our organization operates from the heart of the community we serve. We work closely with dedicated volunteers who share our organizational objectives, mission, and vision. Together, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of these children, offering them hope and a brighter future.

Environment
The primary goal of Village of Hope Foundation is to create a safe and nurturing environment for orphaned children. We strive to offer them a loving home where they can heal, grow, and thrive.
Education
We are committed to providing children under our care with access to quality education. Our goal is to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their full potential.
Well-Being
Village of Hope Foundation aims to prioritize the health and well-being of the children. We provide access to healthcare services, nutritious meals, and a supportive environment that fosters physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Support
We recognize the importance of emotional support in the healing and development of orphaned children. Our goal is to provide a nurturing and caring environment where they can receive the emotional support and guidance they need to overcome their past traumas and build a brighter future.
Village of Hope Foundation strives to equip older children with vocational training and life skills that will empower them to become self-reliant and lead independent lives once they transition out of the foundation.
We believe in the importance of social integration and community involvement for the holistic development of the children. Our goal is to facilitate their active participation in community activities and promote their inclusion in society.
Living
As children approach adulthood, our goal is to support their transition to independent living. We provide guidance, mentorship, and resources to help them successfully navigate this critical phase of their lives.
